Tickets are good for 15 working days. If your digging work has not been completed by the 12th working day you will need to extend the life of your ticket. You must update the ticket on or before the 12th working day to entend the life of the ticket for 15 more working days.
3 Working Day Notice: South Carolina state law ask that you give a 72 hour notice (3 working days) excluding weekends and holiday to have underground lines marked.
Good Through Date: The ending date of the 15-working days for which the locate request ticket is good
or valid.
Call Back Date: The date by which the excavator is to call back to update or extend the 15-working
day time frame on a locate ticket, if needed. This is normally done on the 12th working day but can be before.
Ticket Number: The number of the locate request ticket that is processed for notification of an
excavation site to have underground utilities marked.
