Remote User Program

P.U.P.S Remote User program is for companies/excavators who need tickets on a regular basis (at least once a month) and wish to have the capability to enter certain types of tickets online 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Tickets entered via the Remote User application are processed through the system and sent to the members, just as if the request was processed by a CSR via the phone.

Remote ticket entry allows Users to process Cancel, Design, Meet, No Show, Normal, Remark, Resend, Survey, and Update tickets from their own computer. Additional training is required to allow users to enter Emergency locates, a P.U.P.S. representative must approve this. When using this system, the Remote User will enter all of the necessary information and plot the area of the site location on P.U.P.S. map. After the ticket has been processed, the Remote User will automatically be given a ticket number, the 72-hours notice date and time, a good through and update date, and the member utilities that P.U.P.S will be notifying and may select to receive an email copy.

Remote training classes are held at the P.U.P.S. office in Columbia on the second Wednesday of every month at 9:00 am. The classes are free and last approximately 4 to 6 hours. The only pre-requisite for this class is the user must have called in at least one ticket to P.U.P.S. Call Center. To sign up for any of the classes, or if you would like more information regarding Remote User Program, contact Autumn Coker at (800)290-2783 press 5 or acoker@sc1pups.org
