SC811 Membership
Membership with SC811 allows you to rest easy, because we are here to help protect your underground facilities and
provide a safe working environment for those around you. We provide a communication service, which allows SC811 to
notify its members of anyone’s intent to excavate in South Carolina. As each call is received, it is entered into
SC811 computer system and our state of the art GIS mapping system locates the excavation site. It is recorded and
a locate request notification is sent to the effected SC811 member(s). Upon receiving the locate request
notification the SC811 members will send personnel to locate and mark their underground facilities in the area of
the excavation site.
SC811 is the first stop for underground facility damage prevention in South Carolina.
